Flower Reminders

~ BE HAPPY ~

Do not set aside your happiness. Do not wait to be happy in the future. The best time to be happy is always now.

~ BE COLORFUL ~

Be uniquely you. Stand out. Shine. Be colorful. The world needs your prismatic soul!

~ BREATHE DEEPLY ~

Breathe in the beauty all around you.

~ BE A REFLECTION ~

Be a reflection of what you'd like to receive. If you want love, give love. If you want truth, be truthful. What you give out will always return.

~ STAND TALL ~

Stand tall and be proud of what you are. Never back down from what you believe in. And never be ashamed for who you are.

~ FIND THE BEAUTY ~

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble beed, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.

Pulling it all together – a quote from Violet Shipman’s (one of my favorite authors)

newest book, The Heirloom Garden.

The daisies remind you to be happy. The hydrangeas remind you to be colorful. The lilacs remind us to breath deeply. The pansies reflect our own images back at us. The hollyhocks remind us to stand tall in this world. And the roses - oh, the roses! - they remind us that beauty is always present even amongst the thorns.

The Heirloom Garden – a book about “two women, separated by a generation but equally scarred by war, who find hope, meaning and friendship through a garden of flowers”.

(I loved Viola Shipman’s books, The Charm Bracelet and The Summer Cottage!)

I have not read The Heirloom Garden yet, but will be ordering it soon. A book about HOPE, meaning and friendship through a GARDEN OF FLOWERSWOW!

Happy August! Wishing you a wonderful week!
