Sunshine and Smiles

What sunshine is to flowers, smile are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure, but scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.

In the world we live in today, my hope this week, even if it is for just a quick moment, is to share something every day to give you a smile. So the theme for this week?

SMILE!

Why should you try to smile a little bit more?

* Smiling decreases stress, anxiety, tension.  * Smiling improves your mood and increases your energy.  * Smiling makes you look reliable, trustworthy, relaxed, sincere, nicer, friendlier.  * Smiling makes you look confident, makes you feel confident, makes others feel confident.    * Smiling makes a better first impression.   * Smiling makes you sound friendlier.   * Smiles makes you better looking (and younger). * Smiling helps you age gracefully (more laugh lines, less frown lines).   * Smiling takes less effort than frowning (12 muscles to smile, 113 muscles to frown).  * Smiling might give someone HOPE!

Need help finding something to smile about?

Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful.

Maybe a few short “SMILE” quotes could be helpful.

* Smile, happy looks good on you.  * Start everyday with a smile – at least it’s a good start.  * Smile, it doesn’t hurt.  * You’re never fully dressed without a smile.   * Smile, and let the world wonder why.   * Everywhere you go, take a smile with you. * Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful. * You are somebody’s reason to smile.   * Every smile makes you a day younger.

Or even some fun short quotes could bring a smile.

* Kindness is free. Sprinkle that stuff everywhere.   * Throw kindness around like confetti. * Leave a little sparkle wherever you go.  * Start each day with a grateful heart.  * Don’t count the days, make the days count.  * It’s a good day to have a good day.  * Find joy in the ordinary. Create your own sunshine.  * Be happy. It really annoys negative people.   * I’m going to stand outside. So if anyone asks, I am outstanding.  * Nothing is impossible, the word itself says “I’m possible!”  * Be you. Do you. For you.   * Be gentle with yourself, you’re doing the best you can.   * Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.  * You are amazing. Remember that.  * You are capable of amazing things.  * Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as beautiful as you’ve ever imagined.

If you didn't start the day out with a smile, it's not too late to start practicing for tomorrow.

Wishing you a wonderful week with many unexpected reasons to smile and feel hopeful!
